Saldanha Pool & Garden Hotel - Lisbon

I faced significant issues with electricity. A power outage left me without light, heat, or hot water for several hours, and I struggled to get help as there was no staff available during off-hours. I had to navigate through a confusing and frustrating process just to restore power, which really impacted my experience negatively.

My twin/double room with balcony as well as comfy bed was extremely spacious and very pretty. The staff were exceptional and helped me with luggage. The location was great and perfect - just next door to a quiet beautiful central place, the waterfront, and three metro stations.

Rooms with comfy bed had a SPECIAL atmosphere. A mini bar, central heating and flat-screen television worked well. The property was in the middle of the city.

I appreciated the cute atmosphere and the hotel's proximity to numerous beautiful cafes and green spaces, making it easy to enjoy leisurely strolls around the neighborhood.

The room's size felt cramped. The air quality was problematic, with a small window opening into a confined space that smelled chemically, preventing fresh air circulation. The shower was cramped, and the doors were awkward to maneuver. A kettle in the room would have been a welcome addition for late-night drinks.

I stayed in a Superior Double or Twin Room with Pool View for 19 nights, and it was super spacious and clean. The AC worked perfectly, keeping the room cool after hot days out and about. The bed was comfy too, great for the long stay. The view of the pool area added a nice touch. It was a bummer that there were no fridges available in the room, though, especially for keeping drinks cold after a long day exploring.

I stayed in a Superior Double or Twin Room with Pool View for 5 nights, and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly, and they helped store our bags before check-in. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view onto the street. Plus, the air conditioning worked perfectly.

A kettle would have been nice for morning coffee.

The location offered great access to public transport. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite the nice ambiance, the small pool felt chilly in early May, which limited its usability. The lack of dining options on-site was noticeable, as I had to venture out for meals. A kettle in the room would have added to the comfort for morning coffee.

Solo traveler looking for comfort

Very nice staff! They really cared about my needs. Barbara, the lady at reception, was a gem. Plus, there's a cozy breakfast nook with a view of the garden and pool. I used the metro frequently. It's only a 10-minute walk to the station. Perfect for getting around the city easily.

It wasn't inexpensive, but given all the comforts, it felt worth it.

The location was great, felt safe at night! Staff were cute🤗 and the pool area had loungers perfect for a cool dip. The air conditioning was excellent and the shower was large with great pressure!

This was just a fitting option for a weekend rest in Lisbon with good price-quality ratio. I really enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of exploring the city. Try to get a room on the upper floor for a quieter stay.
